Types of Pulse Controllers
SYMFILTER offers three main types of pulse controllers to meet different industrial dust collection requirements.
Timer-Based Pulse Controller: Activates pulse valves sequentially at preset time intervals for automatic cleaning. Features an English-language panel, with optional RS485 communication and offline cleaning functions.
Differential Pressure Pulse Controller: Triggers cleaning according to preset differential pressure conditions, helping reduce unnecessary cleaning and providing a first step toward intelligent filter cleaning. This model features an integrated, board-mounted differential pressure sensing system and does not require an external differential pressure transmitter. Standard features include RS485 communication and offline cleaning.
Touchscreen PLC Differential Pressure Controller: Combines HMI touchscreen operation with differential pressure control and offers more advanced monitoring and control functions, depending on configuration. Functions include multiple cleaning modes, such as offline cleaning and mixed cleaning, as well as watchdog functionality. It can also control additional components, such as pneumatic hammers and cylinders, and supports multiple 4–20 mA analog sensor inputs.
Applications
Pulse controllers are widely used in cartridge dust collectors, baghouse dust collectors, electrostatic powder coating booths, and industrial air filtration systems. They support dust collection in powder recovery, material handling, and other industrial applications that generate dust.
